Hendall Manor Barns Tuesday 15th October, 10am - 4.30pm.
The course is for companies that require someone with First Aid training or if they need to renew their qualification (First Aid certificates last for three years from their date of issue).
Learners will develop the skills and confidence to help someone who is: unresponsive and not breathing, including how to use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), unresponsive and breathing, having a seizure, choking, bleeding heavily, suffering from shock, burnt
The course also includes information on: assessing a casualty, monitoring a casualty, where to get help, accident recording and reporting.
This course is run by an external, accredited First Aid company. The cost per person is £75 (VAT not applicable) and will include E-Certificate (upon successful completion of the course), lunch, tea/coffee refreshments and secure free parking, set in Hendall's lovely, rural venue.

Hospices of Hope is holding a charity event at Bar Trend, Crowborough on 5th December and they are looking for a sponsor for the event.
The sponsorship would include logo on the flyers and posters and on social media and also a mention at the event, they are looking for £250 so that they can cover the costs of the event which will enable them to send more of the money raised to their beneficiaries.
Taking place on Thursday 5th December, the night will start with a brilliant cocktail making demonstration for two different cocktails. After this, you will have the chance to make your very own cocktail. As well as the two cocktails, the night will also include a welcome drink and nibbles!

Crowborough’s Christmas Fair, organised by the Town Council, is scheduled to take place on Friday 22nd November.
The Fair will start at 4.00pm and will finish at approximately 6.00pm when the Christmas lights will be switched on by a celebrity from this years’ Tunbridge Wells Panto. There will be a road closure in place from 1.00pm and stall holders will have staggered access to their stalls from 2.00 - 3.00pm onwards.
Stalls will be available to businesses at £15.00 per stall and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

South East Creative is a newly launched programme from the South East Creatives Cultural Digital Sector (SECCADS) that includes fully-funded specialist mentoring support aimed at businesses in the Creative, Cultural or Digital Sectors, which have significant growth potential. The MHCLG has recently launched a European Regional Development Fund focused on enhancing the competitiveness of SMEs. The funding aims to promote entrepreneurship, support the creation of advanced capacities for products, services and development and to support the capacity of SMEs to grow into regional, national and international markets. There is budget of approx. £10m to be allocated with bids expected to be for £500K and above. The funding round closes on 30th September 2019 with projects being delivered by June 2023.
