Another sunny Saturday once again saw the annual Summer Fun Day attract thousands of visitors to Crowborough Town Centre.
There was the largest number of local business and charity stalls that we have ever hosted (48 in total) plus the French Market offering a fine range of products. Free entertainment in the form of magician, Punch & Judy, face painters, bouncy castle and inflatable fun kept the kids entertained, while music from Rebecca Jabbar, Milly McCarron, Jen Wilson, JaM, Any Other Business and In Choir added to the atmosphere.
Collection buckets were placed around the area and later in the year The Chamber will be presenting Clued Up.Info with the donations. Based in Crowborough town centre, Clued Up.Info is an information shop for young people aged between 11 and 25 years. They provide advice and information on any subject, including; education, training and employment, sex and relationships, family problems, justice and equality, health, housing and welfare, money, sport, leisure and travel, mental health and depression, bullying, alcohol and drug awareness, as well as counseling and liaising with other agencies. Thank you to all those that gave money to this worthy cause.
The day could not happen without the support of our Main Sponsors: Freedom Leisure, Lawson Commercial, Horder Healthcare, Millennia Garden Machinery, Prosperity IFA and Tester and Jones Funeral Care and of course the small group of volunteers that give their time and lots of energy to make the day possible. A big thank you goes to all of them.
