The Crowborough and District Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce that the eleventh Annual Summer Fun Day will take place on Saturday 2nd June in Crowborough Town Centre.
This event is one of the most eagerly anticipated days of the Crowborough calendar and last year attracted an estimated 7,000 people to the town centre. This year we will be welcoming back the very popular French Market and we are sure locals will enjoy sampling their fare. There will also be street entertainers, a professional face painter, bouncy castle, music, food stalls and much more. We would like this event to follow on from the success of previous years and are inviting local businesses, organisations and charities to participate by booking pitches for the day.
Supporting Local Charities and Organisations
As well as giving local charities and organisations the chance to carry out their own fundraising at the event The Chamber likes to choose one charity each year to benefit from donations given by the public on the Fun Day. This year The Chamber has chosen Crowborough Citizen Advice, this independent charity provides free, confidential, independent and impartial advice and campaigns on big issues affecting people's lives and Crowborough Chamber believes it is a very deserving cause.
The Fun Day will be running from 9am until 5pm. The cost of a pitch is £30 for Chamber members and £40 for non members who book before the end of March, after this time the cost of stalls rises by £10. The pitches will be located in the High Street, Broadway and along Croft Road; set up will commence from 7.00am. We are unable to offer actual stalls due to cost and manpower but we recommend something heavy duty with a cover in case of rain and sandbags to weigh down gazebos in the event of wind. Each pitch is 3 metres in width – extra space is available in 3 metre increments at £30 per 3 metres.
