VCSE Energy Efficiency Scheme

he VCSE Energy Efficiency Scheme is offering independent energy assessments to help identify energy-saving opportunities in voluntary, community and social enterprise organisation buildings across England. As of this month, the scheme is also offering capital grants to implement measures recommended in the energy assessments. The scheme is funded as part of a package of over £100 million of support being delivered by the Government to help frontline delivery organisations with the increased cost of living. Rural Business Grants Programme

Wealden District Council, Rother District Council and East Sussex County Council are pleased to announce the official launch of the Rural Business Grants Programme through the Rural England Prosperity Fund, which will be running in 2024. They are welcoming applications for 50% match-funded grants of up to £50,000, which are being made available to businesses based and trading in the Wealden and Rother District Council areas. The grants can be used for capital projects which will contribute to farm diversification, business growth, and both the creation and safeguarding of jobs. For further information please click HERE

Last year East Sussex County Council provided match funding to 26 projects and will be pledging a further £50,000 this year through Crowdfunder.

Each project can receive up to £5,000 in funding from the East Sussex Community Wellbeing Fund.

They aim to support and provide exposure to projects that are helping to create social equity, economic prosperity, cultural vitality, and environmental sustainability in East Sussex.
